In fiscal year 2010, there were 3,158* reports of sexual assault involving military service members as subject or victim.

The SAPR Program at DSCC

The Sexual Assault  Prevention and Response Program is managed through the Family Advocacy Program Office.  The Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) is available for reporting and referrals, coordination of prevention activities and yearly training of military service members.  A member of the military serves as DSCC’s installation Victim Advocate (VA) and can be accessed through your SARC.  A Memorandum of Understanding is maintained with the Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio (SARNCO) in order for victims to receive crisis intervention and support 24/7.
