Pro Shop

The Eagle Eye Golf Course Pro Shop offers a variety of golf merchandise to include golf caps, head covers, towels, golf bags and watches.  A wide variety of apparel, including Eagle Eye Golf Course and Ohio State University polo shirts, are also available.

If equipment is what you need, talk to the Pro Shop staff about the best clubs, shoes and accessories for you!  They offer the latest in golf ball technology, including the new Titlest Pro-V1 and Pro-V1x, Topflight, Hogan, Strata and Callaway.   If you can’t find what you are looking for, special orders are available and typically take just a few days to receive.

Plus…there is no tax on anything you buy at the Pro Shop!

The golf course is open to all Department of Defense associates, which includes all active and retired, military and civilian personnel. Recently, membership has been opened to the Federal, state, county, and city government employees and honorably discharged veterans. Information on obtaining an MWR ID Card can be found here.

For the Federal, state, county, and city government employees and honorably discharged veterans members, the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) ID Request must be filled out and submitted to the Golf Course Manager.  Once the forms have been approved, they will be returned to the applicant to obtain the photo ID and car decal at the Pass & ID Office in building 52, located next to the Broad Street main gate.

Golf Programs

Beginner’s and Intermediate group golf lessons; and Ladies’, Men’s, mixed and beginner’s golf leagues are offered from April through September.  The Junior Golf Program for all playing skills, ages 6-17, is also available in the summer.  These programs are offered to all Department of Defense associates, which includes all active and retired, military and civilian personnel; and Federal, state, county, and city government employees and honorably discharged veterans and family friends.

Adult Beginners Golf Clinic
Learning the game of golf is broken down into weekly lessons taught by our PGA Professional. In the classroom and on the course you will learn about the terminology, etiquette and technical skills necessary to be a successful golfer. This class ends with a graduation scramble against your classmates so you can show off what you have learned.

Intermediate-Level Golf Clinics
These classes are intended for golfers whom have taken the beginner’s clinic in a previous season or have th eability to play nine holes in 2 1/2 hours or less.
Intermediate Golf Clinic: The course will cover all aspects of the game with a concentration on how to manage your game on the golf course.  The first includes instruction on the driving range, while the second hour will concentrate on coure playing and game management.  This class is limited to 8 players to allow for more individual instructions.
One-Club Clinics: These one-day clinics allow you to focus on fine tuning your ability of different club types. Choose from one or several clinics as needed: Putter, Wedges, Drivers, Short Irons, Long Irons/Hybrids and Fairway Woods. Each class is limited to 5 players to allow for more individual instructions.

Junior Golf Clinics/Camps
The entire family can learn the game of golf when you sign your children up for the Junior Golf Clinic held each summer.  In this 4 day camp, children will still learn the terminology, etiquette and rules of the game of golf just like the grown-ups. Information is tailored to be understood by children so they are sure to retain the information and have a good time. The week ends with a pizza party and graduation scramble tournament against the other campers.

Leagues
Once you have learned the game of golf, make sure you check with the Pro Shop to find a league to play in. There are leagues for all types of players at all levels of skill. From beginners to advanced and men to ladies to mixed, there is sure to be a league for you!

League Days/Times

  • Monday Mixed League ~ 5:30 p.m. shotgun start (course closed 5:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.)
  • Tuesday Men’s League ~ 4:00 p.m. shotgun start (course closed 4 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.)
  • Wednesday Two-person Team League ~ 5:30 shotgun start (course closed 5:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.)
  • Thursday Ladies’ League ~ tee-times  5 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday Whitehall Service League ~ tee times 4:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.

Note:  Driving Range and Putting Green are open during these times.
