The Running and Walking Club at DSCC is a self motivated program. The fitness center provides resources and links for you to find upcoming races, tips on training and ways to track and log your miles. The Fitness Center hosts multiple races throughout the year, typically 5k’s (3.1 miles), for people to participate in. The Running and Walking Club is also invited to join in on the hikes that are sponsored by the Outdoor Recreation program.

Map My Run is a great tool to use when trying to figure out how long your run or walk was. You can look up previously made routes, or create your own and the website will calculate the distance for you.
