Having trouble viewing PDFs?
As of August 2015, DLA has disabled the viewing of PDF files from external websites (including this site) through Internet Explorer. We are currently working on a permanent solution to this issue.
However, in the meantime, if you are experiencing issues viewing PDF files from our site, try one the following:
- Right click on the attachment link (prior to opening the PDF) and select “Save Target As…” Save file to your desktop or any preferred location. After the file has been downloaded you should receive a pop up box saying the file download has completed; choose “Open” from this box.
- Try visiting our website from a different internet browser. Most DLA computers are pre-equipped with Firefox (check your desktop or Start button for a “Mozilla Firefox” icon). You may experience some issues with page configuration through Firefox, depending on your computer settings, but you should be able to access all PDF files.
- Try visiting our website from a non-network computer. Please consider visiting us from your home computer or personal device.
We are working diligently to correct this problem while adhering to DLA Internet Security requirements. Our priority is providing our customers with up-to-date and accurate information in the best way possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused.
