Meet the Trainers

Kerstin

Kerstin served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 4 years before being honorably discharged. Kerstin went through her own personal fitness journey a few years ago and lost 60lbs. Throughthis journey she became passionate about fitness and nutrition, and decided she wanted fitness to be her full-time career. She is a Certified Personal Trainer through PTA Global, Level One Certified in Exercise Nutrition through Precision Nutrition, PiYo Live certified through Beachbody Live and ViPR Certified through Fit Pro. Kerstin enjoys spending time in Hocking Hills with her husband and dogs, teaching fitness classes and helping people be successful in their fitness journeys.

Matt

Matt is a graduate of Ohio University and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. He currently holds certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (C.S.C.S.) and the Cooper Institute (CI-CPT). Matt has over five years of experience in the fitness industry, serving as a collegiate strength coach and personal trainer before arriving at the DSCC Fitness Center. Matt specializes in weight loss management, lean mass gains, and performance enhancement training.

Tom

Tom served in the United States Navy for 13 years before being honorably discharged, and he currently serves in the Selected Reserves. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Personal Training Institute, which he earned in January of 2014. Tom enjoys teaching Kickboxing, High Intensity Interval Training and Functional Fitness.
